Combined type needle roller bearings are combination of a radial bearing and a thrust bearing. Caged needle roller ball bearing or thrust roller bearings are used as thrust bearings. They are co***ct and very economical, and can be subjected to radial loads and axial loads simultaneously. They are widely used for machine tool, textile machinery, and industrial machinery.
Combined needle roller bearings consist of a radial needle roller bearing combined with a thrust bearing and are consequently able to take up both radial and axial loads. Combined needle roller bearings provide the means to produce locating bearing arrangement in a minimum of radial ***ce. They are particularly useful where the axial loads are too heavy, speeds are too high, or lubrication inadequate for simple thrust washers to be suitable , and other types of locating bearing take up too much room.
